Amazon on Monday announced that Amazon.in has become most visited e-commerce site in India in just two and half years from their launch.

The gift card offer, which is only valid till 11.59 pm on Monday(Decemebr 14) will be credited to a user’s Amazon account by January 20, 2016. It will be valid for a year since the date of issue and each user gets a gift card only on the first order placed.

Meet Reuben Paul, A 9-Year-Old Indian Boy Who Is Both A CEO And Cybersecurity Expert!
At his age, boys are just stepping into the fantasy world of Hogwarts and beginning to identify with the Wimpy Kid, but Reuben Paul has his eyes on the rain — the green code rain of The Matrix. The third-grader is already an accomplished hacker, app developer, cybersecurity expert and, not surprisingly, CEO of a game development firm, Prudent Games. In hacker circles, he is also a respected speaker, who shares his wisdom from the dais while standing on a chair hidden behind the lectern.
On Thursday, the smiling nine-year-old from Austin, Texas was back in action at Ground Zero Summit 2015, a meeting of cybersecurity experts and researchers, at one of the biggest hacker conferences in the world. Last year, he had delivered his keynote on November 14, Children's Day, but this time he's here as a 'special ambassador' for teaching cybersecurity to children and has a special address lined up.
The four-day summit that has brought together an army of experts started at The Ashok Hotel with an address by the chief guest, Home Minister Rajnath Singh. Drawing attention to the new threat of radicalisation through social media, Singh said cybersecurity experts should try to stop it. He described the World Wide Web as the "fifth dimension of security" and pointed out that busting cybercrime is difficult as it involves locations across the world, different languages, cultures and legal frameworks.
Paul, who is the youngest attendee, told TOI he cut his teeth in the field with 'credential harvesting', a technical term for stealing passwords. "With great hacking skills you get power, and with great power comes great responsibility," he said, quoting his hero, Spider-Man. While Paul wants to become a "good cyberspy", the venue was teeming with experts who have already earned their stripes.
One of the hackers said on condition of anonymity that he had started out by hacking his college's system to know his grades in graduation. Another, Harsh Shah, hacked his college's Wi-Fi and IT systems to block access to social media. Inderjeet, an ethical hacker, said he had found a security flaw in the online passbook printing tool of a bank.
Jiten Jain, CEO of Indian Infosec Consortium, which organises the summit, said their objective is to have all the hackers and cyber experts under one umbrella for research on the country's cybersecurity. Last year, they had found malware and viruses in many defence news sites.

In the past 11 years, Sana Mir has done her bit to change the perception about women's cricket in Pakistan. And as she prepares to hand over the leadership baton after the World T20, she reveals that Virat Kohli and Mahendra Singh Dhoni are the most popular cricketers in her team.
"We have come a long way. It (cricket) is considered as a medium for women's empowerment in Pakistan. Now girls want to take up cricket. This team has done a lot to change the perception. There were times it was difficult for women's cricket in Pakistan but now parents come up and tell me that they want their daughters to play cricket," Sana said.
'Kohli, Dhoni popular in Pakistan team'
Mir did let out a little secret that Kohli is the most popular cricketer in their women's team, although her personal favourite is Dhoni.
"There are couple of names. If I just talk about my players, I think Virat Kohli is the favourite cricketer. Personally, Dhoni is my favourite player. He has handled himself well on and off the field. He has transformed a team of juniors into an effective unit," Sana said.
She has decided to relinquish captaincy post World T20 and wants to personally supervise a smooth change of guard by continuing as a team member before calling time on her illustrious career.
"Always there will be somebody. We have been grooming my successor for the past three or four years. Captaining Pakistan was an honour. I think this is the right time for the next captain to take over as we are two years away from the next World T20 and Asian Games. This would be the best time for the new captain to come in and settle down."
'Want to set a trend'
Perhaps Pakistan's men's team captains, who have unintentionally been a part of musical chair that is played for the hot seat can take a leaf out of their women's team captain's book.
"That is the trend that I would like to set in our country because it is very important that the leadership passes on smoothly. After retirement, I will continue as a player. I will be in the team as a player until the new captain settles down. Jayawardane and Sangakara have shown this and they have been wonderful ambassadors of the game. I think I will be available as a player," Sana said.

Domestic handset maker Ringing Bells will launch India's most affordable smartphone for Rs 251 today evening, a move that is set to disrupt the growing handset market in the country.
Defence Minister Manohar Parrikkar will launch the smartphone 'Freedom 251' in an event presided over by Dr. Murli Manohar Joshi.
Important specifications of the Freedom 251 include a 4-inch display, 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage (expandable up to 32GB), 3.2-megapixel back camera, 0.3-megapixel front camera, and a 1450mAh battery.

Bookings for the Freedom 251 open on February 18 at 6am and close on 21 February at 8pm. The company says deliveries will be completed by 30th June 2016.
The launch is in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision for "empowering India to the last person, transforming India's growth story", the Noida-based company said.
Established last year, Ringing Bells will start with the assembly of handsets in Phase-I and aims at full indigenous development of the feature-rich smartphones, it said.
It did not disclose any other details about manufacturing, products and pricing.

BERLIN – Indian lawyer and human rights defender Henri Tiphagne will be awarded the 8th Human Rights Award by Amnesty International Germany. The award, which will be presented at an official ceremony on April 25 at the Maxim Gorki Theatre in Berlin, is a recognition of Henri Tiphagne’s exceptional commitment to human rights. “For many decades now, Henri Tiphagne has been tirelessly and bravely standing up for human rights. His organisation’s invaluable work includes campaigning against discrimination and the use of torture in India,” Amnesty International said in a statement.
“Henri Tiphagne and his organisation People’s Watch, while fighting to ensure the rights of others, are themselves being harassed and hampered in their work by the authorities. And there are other civil society organisations in India that are in a similar position. The award is therefore meant to send a strong signal of support to the whole of the Indian human rights movement,” adds Director of Amnesty International Germany.
Henri Tiphagne is the founder of the organisation People’s Watch, one of the most notable human rights organisations in India. People’s Watch has been researching and documenting human rights violations, as well as providing legal representation to those affected, for over 20 years. The organisation also actively supports human rights education: In 1997, Henri Tiphagne founded an institute offering training for teachers as well as mentoring around school human rights education programmes. So far, they have managed to reach out to around 500,000 children in 18 Indian states.
In recent years, many organisations have come under intense pressure by the Indian government, and People’s Watch is no exception. The organisation’s bank accounts have been frozen repeatedly since 2012. This meant that some employees had to be dismissed and many programmes needed to be abandoned. The Delhi government in power at the time used the Foreign Contribution Regulation Act to justify this kind of harassment. A complaint filed by People’s Watch against these government actions is still pending. The same legal framework is being instrumentalised for political ends by the current government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Those targeted by the authorities include non-governmental organisations as well as activists and local protest groups campaigning, for example, against forced evictions to make way for new coal mining projects.
Whenever activists and organisations are forced to limit the scope of their work due to this kind of harassment, human rights such as the rights to freedom of expression, assembly and association are under threat.
The Human Rights Award is presented by Amnesty Germany every two years in recognition of individuals or organisations campaigning for human rights under very difficult conditions. With the award, Amnesty International aims to honour and support the awardees’ exceptional human rights commitment and raise awareness of their work amongst the German public. The award is endowed with 10,000 Euros, provided by Amnesty Germany’s foundation Stiftung Menschenrechte, Forderstiftung Amnesty. The Human Rights Award will be presented for the eighth time in 2016. Former award recipients include: Monira Rahman from Bangladesh (2006), Women of Zimbabwe Arise from Zimbabwe (2008), Abel Barrera from Mexico (2011) and Alice Nkom from Cameroon (2014)

Rajinikanth told me not to play villain in 'Robot'
The 2010 Tamil movie, directed by S Shankar, starred Rajinikanth and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in lead roles."Shankar had come to me and he wanted me to play the villain (in 'Robot'). I called Rajini. He said, 'people will not accept you as a villain, so don't do it'. I said ok," Bachchan said in an interview here
There were reports that Bachchan was approached for 'Robot 2', but the star dismissed it, saying he was not offeredc the role.
Meanwhile, gossip mills are also abuzz that Bachchan would be a part of 'Dhoom 4'. To this, he said, "I heard it for the first time." The 73-year-old actor will be next seen in Bejoy Nambiar's 'Wazir' with Farhan Akhtar and Aditi Rao Hydari.
